SOLUTION TO CRIME AGAINST WOMEN
Since, time immemorial, India is trying to find solution to crime against women, but has found none till date. The solution is in-house, and no one wants to see that. The women's own parents differentiate between boys & girls. Parents don't divide their property in equal proportion among them, and to avoid claims from their daughter, they make a will in favor of their son. This practice must be declared null & void, and property must be divided in equal proportion irrespective of their age/status/earning of siblings. This would greatly reduce crime against women. To do good work, it is not necessary to join any party. We can do good work and help others in whatever way we can by just being sincere and caring. There are a lot of problems where we live, like cleanliness, garbage disposal (some people leave garbage bags on the roads, park grills, in the neighboring lane etc.), stray dogs, thefts from houses and common areas, overflowing drains, leaking pipes, overflowing water tanks, teaching kids etc. more

The idea to divide the property in equal parts is great and should be implemented. another suggestion is to give preference to families with girl child only. Give them reservations in everything. Ask police to entertain them on priority. Arrange special police stations for girls. Display special hotline phone nos. to help girls in public. A task force to protect girls should be made in every district and all of them should be connected with each other every time easily. if a person caught in crime against women then preserve the data of him and circulate between task forces of all districts. And last but not least try to change our own attitude and raise our voices if any type of misconduct is happening in front of you. more

Issue of woman empowerment is much more than just division of property. The challenge is our education system prevalent in our society. If we go in broader terms dowry system is very much present in affluent societies . first of all Education system in rural India has to be checked and controlled other issues which give flare to crime against woman is caste system . more
