Startup seems to loose the balance, during their phase of growth. May be their projections are incorrect or market conditions have changed. The founders or people running the company during this phase needs to be more controlled rather than being over optimistic and hire too many people at inflated prices or build too much capacities. Growth has to be steady and gradual. People at startups should use it as an opportunity to learn newer skills and upgrade themselves, so that in case of an eventuality they are able to find themselves in new job quickly (or) they get confidence to be on their own. I think both sides need to have right perspectives for their success. more

All these Startups have spoiled the whole business scene in India by showing everybody dream bubbles which are now bursting out and putting all working class in big trouble. Consider the plight of cab drivers of Uber & Ola. All the problems are because of no governance again. Education system is totally in doldrums with absolutely no standard, a lot due to shortage of experienced faculty. All technical hands of all disciplines have been diverted for coding of software for last about 15-20 years and they have not developed any core competence but everybody has done MBA because teaching that does not require any infrastructure. Whole economy is squinted due to the wrong policy of Mixed Economy pursued by the successive Govts from the time of Independence which has taught people to steal anyway they can at the cost of general public's national assets from all types of PSUs & PSBs. There was never and still there is no comprehensive long-term plan or NITI as to how to take the Nation forward in a well co-ordinated manner. Everybody is busy fooling people and win the election by making false promises somehow and the loot carries on unchecked. Even the present Government which came to power with massive majority could not produce a master plan for development which could be put in public debate. They are only giving out hypes from time-to-time which can never be translated into results. And all results are expected only after 2019 election. more
