Smallest Deed is greater than Grandest Thought

People make grandest thoughts but do not care for smallest deeds. This is true in the case of Delhi administrators. Our beloved Prime Minister is making grandest thoughts as well as doing smallest deeds. But the administrators in the Central Secretariat including those working in PMO are not following this principle. . A warm welcome, caring words, taking care of problems when brought to the knowledge etc. are the smallest deeds which are expected from an organization.

Gratitude is the outcome of Hospitality. People of India had shown their Gratitude in advance but the administration and the BJP are not rising to the standards of hospitality. So far what is reflected in the Governance of India is the expression of thoughts and smallest deeds by our beloved Prime Minister. Either BJP or administrators at Delhi seems to be thinking that it was the duty of Mr. Narendra Modi alone. People, including the employees at Delhi, had voted BJP only because of Mr. Narendra Modi. After all he alone cannot transform single handed unless people around him rise to the occasion.

I am not making these remarks out of anguish or such other things. The bureaucracy in Delhi is still had not shelved the old attitudes. PM has given freedom for work to the bureaucrats. But are they living to the expectations? Many may be yes. But majority are not.

The PMO has opened a web site accepting interactions with the PM. The issues raised therein are being taken note by the PMO. An auto generated mail arrives and it is not known what happened thereafter. The staff of PMO have to explain. Similarly, the Online Grievance Mechanism. It does not care even lapse of 3 months and it does not respond to reminders. Similar is the situation of RTI applications. One office was asked under RTI whether it had undertaken any review of pending cases of 2007. It denied to reply on one pretext. On appeal to the appellate authority and on its orders, it replied. But the Office had not undertaken any review even after the furnishing of reply that no review was undertaken. This happened between May – August 2014. If the administration does not cooperate with the PM what the people can expect.

I hope the BJP and PM after a lapse of 5 years do not find scape goats. more

Yesterday Mr Modi had also mentioned that he attempts small deeds with high goals. more
It is true that PM Modi alone cannot transform. But the persons working in the department have not felt the heat till now and hence it will take some more time to transform. For this, the government should ask the same people how to solve this instead of finding fault with them. Is there any manpower shortage or really any implementation problem ? This needs to be addressed. Whether any Latest Technology can be made use of to solve these problems? more
I totally endorse the views and experiences of Mr. Daitha having had similar experiences as well. People perceived - at least I did, the 2014 verdict as the second independence. We lost the first opportunity from 1947 onwards to reach the state that we are in. Can only hope and pray that we as a Nation, the well intentioned PM who needs several clones, his team, BJP and the ever slothful system which breeds corruption would rise to the occasion and opportunity. The Hon'ble PM shall be the butt of all blame to put in a system which can not deliver. Unfortunately the fall shall be the so much more devastating, because the expectations have been raised sky high. Vande Matram. more
I agree with Sumendra Jain's posting.PMO staff have to cooperate and work with PM and they have to take responsibility of web sites -maintenance.Modiji is capable to handle PMO staff and his ministers .Our citizens of our country through Local Circles have to give feedback , support and strengthen Modiji so that he can take proper decisions and actions G.K.Naidu (CE, MBA, AIMA), Hyderabad more
Report cards for every government employee is required and put up on the web site. Tracking of files and issues is important to ensure efficiency in the system. PMO needs to do some thing at least on the feed back given by local circle members. I have not received any response on matters uploaded on pmindia.nic.in. Swatch bharat ............ vote dialog box was not working. more
