I dont think Covid cases are increasing due to only Cinemas, Gyms, restaurants. We are forgetting offices, saloons, local kurana shops, vrgetable mandis, local trains, buses, etc. Please be so selfish to omit these places as well more

It was wrong to start gyms, cinemas and restaurant and even the marriage halls and social gathering halls. It would been acceptable if some restrictions were imposed and imlementation was ensured. But indiscriminate crowding is taking place in restautents, gyms, marriage halls and trains. Majority dont wear masks. Cinaema halls are most dangerous space contributing to spread of pandemic. Some drastic restrictions are needed to regulate these palces. Otherwise a fresh complete lock down is inevitable. more

Since March 2020 every public places are closed due to covid,and there is tremendous loss to government . Reopening of all closed public places are necessary for recovery from revenue loss. Shutting all public gathering is not the answer to the current spike in infection Had the government imposed stringent action five months ago the situation would have been under control. Now since penalties imposed for not adhering to covid protocol stringent action should be kept alive for next six months, by then, the infection may be eased. This is my view and without any prejudice. more

I fully agree with the opinion of Debraj Roy. Only 30% are wearing masks and the police are not implementing a strict policy. We have literally a hundred or so persons, children and adults from the nearby slum entering our lane from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. not wearing masks or keeping a distance, playing games on the roads and shouting and destroying the plants. Why does the CM not take positive action against them? Why shut restaurants, make it a take away again. Stop the local trains. Everybody is being lethargic about it. I understand that it is troublesome wearing a mask all the time but it is for our own good and the good of our state and country. more

It seems the covid cases are milder than what had happened last year. A more detailed data needs to be compiled. An important factor that needs to be known is what percentage of cases though positive are asymptomatic. This can help us gauge the severity of covid this time around. In my opinion shutting down businesses has a cascading effect on the economy. Of course if it an opinion of an expert and experienced panel of doctors we must go along. more
