Should Stability be an issue while we vote?

Most parties ask people to vote for their party so that a stable govt can be formed, with a majority of more than 50% seats. However just because of this reason people vote for a party even though they know that a corrupt person may be representing that party.

A Democratic way of governing should be that all the elected representatives be they from whichever party or as independents should be able to govern our country. Each elected representative should be able to take independent decision and should not just follow the leader.

Hope AAP will make this dream a reality. more

Dear Mr S.k.Sharma , You are right we do not want lawlessness and want a united India . But surely a system can be worked out where the chosen elected representatives can manage the country jointly under the control of the election commissioner as we are doing now without involving the leaders of political parties. more
Sanjeeev ji, what you are suggesting is impractical for a huge, varied and disturbed country like India where Naxalites and Maoists are just waiting to pounce and gobble up the country. Independent Satraps are likely to return the country back to the days of about 500 small kingdoms in post-Independence India with immense possibility of Balkanisation of the country. The Maoists want this, but as loyal Indian, we do not want that, do we? more
Yes, Ganga Ram ji, I fully agree with that Mr Arvind Kejriwal is bold, honest, dedicated with high thinking with simple living. I am proud on him. more
SANJEEV MATHUR JI, YOU MIGHT HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT ARVIND JI ALREADY SUGGESTED THIS IN "MOHALLA-SABHAS(SWARAJ QANOON-PENDING TO BE PASSED) WHENEVER "AAP" COMES WITH ABSOLUTE MAJORITY. PLEASE STUDY "AAP"s "SWARAJ QANOON". YOUR & OUR FEARS WILL BE DIMINISHED AND SHALL BE VERY GLAD THAT ARVIND HAS ALREADY SOLVED SOME CRITICAL & GENUINE PROBLEMS OF THE DAY & HOW INDIA CAN BE DEMOCRATIC IN REALITY AFTER PASSING THIS QANOON. THAT'S WHY ARVIND JI CONFIRMLY HAS SAID THAT AFTER PASSING ALL THESE "SWARAJ-QANOON", GENUINE & ORIGINAL "JAN-LOK-PAL", "RIGHT TO REJECT", "RIGHT TO RECALL" & "DELHI A COMPLETE STATE-QANOON", NO PREVIOUS OR DESIRING TO BE SO CORRUPT OR CRIMINAL LEADER SHALL AVOID TO CONTEST ELECTION EVEN AFTER DELIBERATELY INVITING THEM TO DO SO. more
Sunil ji, I fully agree with you. It is down gradation of life value. In case people take responsibility themselves, our society will automatically improve. The main reason is loosing moral in life. Take an example of Anna's anti corruption and pro Jan Lok Bill agitation. BJP and many other political parties were in support of Shri Anna ji's movement. But it was their turn to support the Jan Lokpal prepared by civil society, all political parties get together and opposed that Jan Lokpal which fixed the responsibilities/account-abilities. If there is no full majority, then the particular party has an excuse to avoid such accountability, but in case full majority, they will take any other side. There is a lack of will power. Otherwise every thing is possible as Mr Arvind Kejriwal pronounces regularly. So we have to support Mr Arvind Kejrwial and his team of AAP and vote them to take this change and make these things possible. more
