Self Defence training for girls in Noida Schools

Yesterday, we have recommended to all schools in Noida to introduce self defence training for girls. All the school prinicipals present accepted this recommendation.
If you have a girl child, do touchbase with the school administration to find out about their plans for such training.
There are many laws and acts that have being introduced to safeguard women. The district administration will collect information about all such laws and acts and prepare a booklet to distribute them among girl students.
We also look forward to any inputs you have to make Noida safer for the girl child.

Sir this is a very good move..however I have a question as to why are boys being left out. Today the rate at which crimes have gone up, both girls and boys (specifically children) are at equal risks of various types like kidnapping, molestation etc. I think, at least with respect to basic self defence, it should be mandatory for all kids... more

Very good initiative and it needs appreciation from all quarters. The school should implement it in letter n spirit. The administration must keep an eye on its execution by schools. more
