I would suggest a local residents body should be formed to oversee such works. The body should comprise a fare mix of people who have knowledge about civil work, people who are retired and some young minds. There's always a guarantee clause in all such tenders. And if any repair work comes up the bidder has to get it done at his own cost. Secondly the other bodies who dig roads (telephone, electrical, water, etc.), should be liable and responsible to reinstate the road/s so dug. If they do not adhere to this, they have to be penalised. more

all the roads in maharashtra were not made as per specification and design as per vehicular density consideration it is really very serious issue no supervision say lac of supervision for road construction i am telling you it is absolute blindness of work in doing road work more

Yes , let the local residents decide (ALM) area wise , whether the work done is proper , only after the certificate is submitted , the payments are to be made. more
