Yes it is true Private sector is more corrupt than any public undertaking or Government Department. Even Government officials also get involved in corruption for benefit of certain individuals who are in private sector.
Corruption is in our blood but this may be a world wide phenomenon also. India was ruled by Hindu and Muslim Kings, Nawabs , many Kings their army men and other high ranking officials were corrupt Brithish East India Company and other took advantage of such moles and captured many princely states and ruled over India for so many years.
If private sector owners directors and employees were so honest they would have paid the Excise Duty VAT and Income Tax to Government that was applicable for them and due from them.No one would have used unfair methods and means to evade the Taxes that were legally payable by them to the Government. Government of India has to forego Taxes worth thousands of Crore which the private sector is the main beneficiary.
The main reason for efficient and profitable working of private sector in our country is they evade huge Tax Money which they collect from people but do not pay to the Government more

Vigilance and anti corruption is a ritual. The politicians do not allow any department function on its own. All departments are busy in either serving them or helping them. Politics is the best profession. Other thing is periodical quota of cases. During my school days ,we were advised not go to second(Night) show movie in week ends and month ends. There is no concrete initiative by the government to arrest corruption in the society. Vigilance awareness week is just a ritual. more

Whatever may be, the truth remains is that our nation is highly infested by the disease named corruption and we are internationally identified as one of the most corrupt nations in the world. It is also true that the private sector has prostration towards tax evading. However, it doesn't mean that every private entity and their employees or the government employees/officials are corrupt but number of this group could be counted on finger tips. more

The process of doing business itself is to amass profit by all means. It may be lawful or otherwise. The Government alone cannot eradicate we this. In our country the need and want for anything is more than the production. Hence demand is more than supply. Especially where the quality is reasonable the product is sold in premium. What to do. We must know to limit ou needs and have to buy only when needed and also to avoid the overpriced goods. Can we not boycott certain luxury goods and show the way that only quality and reasonable pricing alone will help achieve profit. more

No use crying like a child! Find one case of corruption and report it to the authorities concerned like the ACB, CBI etc. My slogan is "Each one, catch one!" I have also caught one doctor throuh the ACB for demanding bribe . He was in jail for 6 monthd. I also sent one CMD of a PSU to hell when I reported a Rs 73 crore scam to the CBI. Nature delivered poetic justice and the per son died of heart attack. We have to help ourselves. The political system is so corrupt that it is no use expecting the government comprising nasty politicoans to clean the system. more
