Revised School Timings in District
जनपद में शीतलहर एवं कोहरे को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए जिलाधिकारी गौतम बुद्ध नगर नागेंद्र प्रसाद सिंह ने जनपद के समस्त स्कूल संचालकों का आव्हान करते हुए कहा है कि सभी स्कूल प्रातः 9:30 से दोपहर ढाई बजे तक संचालित किए जाएं । यह आदेश जनपद के समस्त cbsc आईसीएसई up बोर्ड सरकारी एवं समस्त प्राइवेट एवं मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूलों पर लागू होगा । उन्होंने कहा कि नरसरी से लगाकर कक्षा 12 तक तक के सभी स्कूल कल दिनांक 9 दिसंबर से आगामी आदेशों तक प्रातः 9:30 बजे से दोपहर ढाई बजे तक संचालित रहेंगे । इस संबंध में जिलाधिकारी श्री सिंह द्वारा जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक एवं जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी को आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। more

The reason for going back to old timings is not understandable. The District Administration has reversed its own decision which was taken in the larger interest of the students, particularly the small children. The weather will most likely worsen in the days ahead as cold will intensify further and the small children will be forced to bear the brunt of the chilling weather. Hope the district administration will rethink its decision to go back to old timings so that tribulations to the small children caused by severe cold can be avoided. more

Mayoor School Noida changed their timing to 08:30 only, they never adhered to DM orders, is someone checking the implementation as well? By the way great initiative by DM Noida, and I would suggest that every Winter (Dec-Jan) the school timings should be shifted by 1 to 1.5 hours otherwise kids keep on falling sick and there is lot of risk on road to school buses due to heavy fog. more

Apeejay also back to old timings...I also agree kids felt better going at the later timings as itbsuits present times. Wonder what doea DM have to say about it? more

Amity has reverted back to the old timings from today as the buses were not available at the latter time. For the 4 days that the school began at 9:30, I noticed that the kids were very well rested and their productivity had increased greatly. They were not sleepy whole day. I am of the opinion that school hours should not be before 8:30 am as it helps the kids to complete their sleep. This helps in their studies as well as physical growth. more
