Reuse of daily disposable lenses

Sometimes i have had to reuse daily disposable lens due to stock out by keeping it in liquid. Is there any side effect of that? more

The remark doesn't seem to be in good taste. There should be no place of `assumptions' wherein there may lie the scope for complications. Daily disposable contact lenses are meant for one-time usage; these don't need to be cleaned or stored...or reused. Would the advocates of reusing single-use disposable products agree to the reuse of a disposable hypodermic syringe even for the same individual? The trouble with many of us seems to be that we try to look-out for savings even at the cost of possible complications! more
I suppose all of you are right in your own way, but it depends on the period of usage also. Those who use them for a very short time each day, may be they can use them for a little longer time if they feel the lenses are not yet worn out. more
Thanks narenderji for helping us the truth as mostly people say you Can so sometimes i was using my penses two days in a row and then disposing after 48 hrs of opening. Thanks a ton. Really appreciate as its a matter of high concern. more
From eye-health point of view, contact lenses need to be replaced after the expiry of prescribed period (yearly lenses after one year, monthly disposable lenses every month, and daily disposable lenses every day). And, it's unfortunate to spread wrong notions! more
No, i checked with my eye practitioner, as i too do sometimes and There is no side effect but You should clean properly the lenses & its cover so There are no chances of infection etc. more
