In the recently regularized colonies (especially in Delhi), the Colony Layouts/Maps were mostly OUTDATED. Numerous plots were NOT shown in the Map/Layout that was approved by earlier Delhi Government (before State Assembly Elections of 2013). The Owners have Valid Proofs (like Non-Disputed Sale Deed which was obviously never registered).

Note that these are not encroachments. Those colonies which were regularized in 2013, was a Much Delayed Decision. Eying the State Assembly Elections of 2013, the then Delhi Government did not consider that many Plots had NOT been shown on the Layout Plans of these colonies. They quickly regularized the earlier proposed Layouts/Maps which were ERRONEOUS and OUTDATED. Many owners had challenged the earlier proposed Layouts. In response, the concerned authorities acknowledged and assured (in writing) that their plots would definitely be part of the Approved Layout (whenever regularization happens).

Thereafter, these owners/victims have been repeatedly assured (both verbally and in-written also) by local politicians and concerned authorities that their plots would soon be regularized. But in reality nothing has been done so far.

Some people had invested lifetime savings to buy these plots. All these plot-owners were confident that whenever these colonies would be regularized, the Layout/Map will have their plots too (because they had written assurances from authorities). But due to the negligence of previous Delhi Government (of Congress), they were shocked when their plots were NOT visible in the Layout approved by the then State Government. Also note that these plots were Non-Disputed and had single owner always.

As part of newly regularized colonies, these plot-owners should also be brought to justice. I request the newly formed Delhi Government to help these victims/owners by regularizing their plots too. Satyamev Jayate ! more
Delhi Police allows to file online police report of article and document lost ( Can Delhi Police have an online system to file FIR for other issues also ? All developed nations support this feature.

It is very helpful because the complainant gets the time and peace of mind (no harassment faced because no police stations involved) while submitting the online complaint. Such online FIRs lodged can be further followed upon by a dedicated team of police professionals by calling the complainant or reaching at his/her address. This will actually stop this Bribe Problem in Police Stations. It will also save complainant from facing any harassment at the hands of Police while lodging FIR in Police Stations.

Extra cost incurred would be,
- Cost of implementing such an online system.
- Having a dedicated team of Delhi Police Professionals to review Online FIRs and then Call/Meet & get more info from the complainant.
- Having a Grievance Team for looking into complaints against this above said dedicated team (for reviewing online FIRs).

I remember that speech of Modi Ji where he said that there should be a unique website for every police station, a website dedicated to the listing of martyrs so that their names are not lost in history. But what about those who are suffering today ? Will this step of giving an online portal to citizens for making Online FIRs, not solve the basic problem of corruption in Police ? I hope that BJP think-tank also looks into this. more
I request the AAP team to go through the White Paper release by Finance Ministry of India (on Black Money) in May 2012. We all know, Congress was unable to act on them. I hope that AAP can utilize this info and implement the findings of this report at least in Delhi. Please find this report document @ more
In addition to fighting with Power distribution companies, Govt. should take some serious action in implementation of solar panels at every roof top. It should become mandatory to install Solar Panels for certain income group families. Govt. should provide cheap loans and subsidies to install solar panels instead of giving money to Power distribution companies. more
There is an urgent need to control black money in property dealings by INCREASING CIRCLE RATES to match market rates. Though this initiative was taken by previous governments, it is yet to be implemented properly. Circle rates should be streamlined in line with the market prices. Quarterly reviews should also be done for these circle rates. This will mean lesser commission for dealers and more tax/money in the form of stamp duty revenue for the state government. It will also reduce the inflated prices of properties across Delhi.

In Delhi, property prices are higher than even the best of places in USA. This in spite of the fact that the infrastructure quality is so poor (not earthquake resistant, not fire proof). How can a salaried common man (earning ONLY white money) afford to buy a property in Delhi ? more
