Getting all information regarding place of stay, etc. How is it going to help? What is the meaning of "Checking of Credentials"? These are all big words but have no meaning in present situation when people in any social setup, location, address could be affected by COVID 19. Who will take responsibility if a worker called for repairs infects someone whose work he has been called to do? Most of this is wishful thinking. The fact is no amount of checking of any credentials/ addresses is going to serve any useful purpose. more

I never meant to undermine the sacrifice of Covid-19 worriers. Like most of us, I respect them and would be willing to abide by their advice.
I do understand the risk involved in getting a job done from service people, who otherwise have been permitted by the Govt. to attend jobs coming to them. Under the present circumstances when the desirability of allowing the service personnel in the society premises is raised, I presumed it meant for pressing circumstances with known risk involved. Therefore, when there is no other option except to call a service personal, some basic precautions were suggested. If a man is coming from neighborhood it is easy to know a few things about him including his surroundings, his reputation, knowledge of the job he would do or was there any Covid-19 case in his area etc. I am not an advocate who would go to any length to argue his case, right or wrong but an ordinary citizen putting his view in simple words. more

I agree with Mr. Law's comments. One really dues not know where the service personnel s have been. If they are infected ,? Every day we hear new areas from where infected persons are being found out. If this is allowed it will increase the chances of the spread. more

Service personnel should be allowed to enter the society after due checking of their credential, health and place of their stay/establishment,which has to be away from hotspots. more

Sir , every day news areas are being discovered as new hot spots. We as citizens have to protect each other. How much can we depend on Government and COVID warriors, they are doing there best. Can one guarantee if the service person has been to area A 3 days ago and after 3 days area A is declared as Hotspot. This is the time of emergency and we all need to be COVID warriors. It's for our future , for our future generations safe future more

There is a diffrence between should be allowed and permitted . There is a lot of confusion hence if a competent authority like DM Office can kindly clarify then it will make life easier for lots of people. Thank you for your valuable inputs Gentlemen. more
