Rampant Corruption by Dy.Registrar Co-op Housing Societies in Mumbai
The Sub-Registrar, Dy. Registrar, Jt.Registrar demand huge amounts of bribe for
1. Registering a C.H.S.
2. Re-development of a C.H.S.
3. Getting any order for Transfer or any other order
Now the new rule has come for holding Society Elections that a person from Registrar's office has to be present at the Election !!!
Instead of reducing legalities we are increasing power in the hands of most corrupt officials ? ? ? more

We have got deemed conveyance for our Society but to get the PRC transferred in our name is a mighty task.So far I have not bribed anyone but that makes my life miserable..I am running from CTS office to talathi to Collector office but the harassment continues..and I am determined to see to the end of it.To get the NA (Non Agricultural ) Order from the Collector office is very difficult.But I have seen and heard people getting this NA order within a day or two by paying heavy bribes. more

What you mentioned exactly correct.For getting new housing registered with out the cooperation of the builder is hell of a job. For getting property card for redevelopment of property is difficult without under the table transaction. The housing society paying tax for the last so many years for the property still it showing agricultural land.Oh what a wonderful update of land records in local office and revenue department.It is all what for is anybody's guess. more

Absolutely correct. While a law or rule is brought which is in favour of a Govt. official, it means the minister meant swindle as much you can and give me commission. While the rule or law is in favour of public, it means no corruption. Those who do not know how corrupt officials harass the common man they blame bribe givers. Bribe givers compelled to do so. It is very difficult to nail/expose corrupt officials, some time your life in danger, like land, sand and stone quarry mafias. As long as Govt. blaming bribe givers, it is big story. If you ask bribe givers to expose bribe takers after bribe given, even if he is a minister, secretary level Govt. official, police etc. pandora box may be opened, which Govt. does not want. Ratan Tata said in Vistara case that a minister and a top official asked bribe for giving Airline licence in previous UPA regime. It means by prosecuting bribe givers you are terrorising them not to disclose name of bribe takers,else you will be prosecuted. more

You are right sir there in no hearing of complaints in rcs office.all officials favour the corrupt managements.it has become a source of income.proper records are not maintained.the govt officials are hand in glove with the corrupt managements.
