Proof that AAP has changed the face of Indian Politics

Elections are just around the corner and this time they will be huge. Huge in every aspect. We all have different opinions and different choices when it comes to voting. The big question is whom should we vote for? I say vote for Courage and not Power.

In my opinion Aam Aadmi Party has displayed an outstanding courageous and democratic attitude and deserves to be in Power. They are one of us. They wanted to fight the system by entering into it and they are doing that job quite well. Yes there are glitches and some people who give their party a bad name but that doesn't mean you question the credibility of AAP. They are our best bet. If alone inflation and taxes imposed are controlled or brought down then India GDP can shoot off the roof.

Once you control Congress and BJP subsidy scams India will have CA surplus instead CA deficit. I don't think BJP underestimated AAP. Congress did. After he refused to harbour BJP Machiavellis who had gate crashed at Jantar Mantar, the BJP analyst/intellectuals/psephologists/pracharaks had identified AAP to be their main enemy. The entire party machinery had swung into action to discredit the AAPians. The sting which failed to sting was an example of that. In 2014, AAP will be BJP's focus as enemy number 1. Not the Congress. Congress was lucky to get 6 seats in Delhi and not 31 like the BJP. That kind of, changed the topology of the battleground.

Let us take a look at the 20 AAP effect beyond the achievements in Delhi:

1. AAP's effect on 1984 anti-Sikh riots: Kejriwal meets L-G over demands for SIT probe. Senior Supreme Court lawyer HS Phoolka, who fought cases for the anti-Sikh riots victims, said, "If Congress supports SIT in Gujarat riots, then why not SIT for 1984 riots? What could be a better proof of the involvement of the government?"

2. To discourage the VVIP culture and strengthen democratic values, Rama Raman, chairman of three industrial development authorities- Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway on Sunday directed his staff and officials to shun the use of red/blue beacons

3. "The AAP impact on BJP is that no ticket will be given to bahubalis or criminals. In short, there will not be another Kushwaha experiment in the party," a senior BJP leader said.

4. Going AAP way, Congress in Haryana announce power roll back.

5. AAP effect in Mumbai: Shiv Sena promises free water in Mumbai.

6. AAP effect in Mumbai: BJP takes up commuting issue while Congress fights for power tariffs

7. AAP effect in Central Govt.: With AAP stressing the idea of public participation in governance, the central government is considering a proposal to make it mandatory for Union ministries to seek public opinion before framing laws.

8. AAP effect: Congress drops 'Aam Aadmi'.

9. AAP effect: Oscar Fernandes on Mission Amethi to review NH projects of entire Uttar Pradesh and obviously the focus will be on repair and maintenance of stretches in Amethi and Rae Bareli region.

10. AAP effect Madhya Pradesh: Taking a cue from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) experiment to make separate manifesto for every assembly constituency, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is promising to make separate development plan for every district of state with the participation and help of common man.

11. AAP effect in Rajasthan: Vasundhara Raje extends austerity drive.

12. AAP effect in Mumbai: Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam's hunger strike.

13. AAP effect on Railway Protection Force: MUMBAI: An AAP volunteer has filmed two Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials allegedly extorting money from an accused inside Kalyan railway court. On Tuesday, AAP volunteer Sameer Zaveri complained to the divisional manager of Central Railway and submitted the clip recorded by party colleague Satyjeet Burman.

14. AAP effect Nagpur: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) effect is no longer confined to politicians now. The corporate sector too has taken a cue from it. Soon after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a helpline for people being harassed by corrupt government employees, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan followed suit. Now power franchisee SNDL too has started a toll free number to prevent private agents and corrupt staffers from looting staffers. The number of this special helpline - the first exclusive anti-corruption helpline in the city - is 7507773003.

15. AAP effect Uttarakhand: Former Uttarakhand chief minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank removed red beacons and hooters from his official vehicles in the light of a recent Supreme Court order limiting their use only by persons holding constitutional posts.

16. AAP effect Pakistan: Now, there's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) effect across the border too. Inspired by Arvind Kejriwal's battle against corruption, a small bunch of activists in Rawalpindi and Islamabad are working to float their own version of the party by March.

17. AAP effect UP: Close on the heels of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi government's decision seeking audit of power distribution companies' (discoms) accounts by Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), a similar demand has been raised in Uttar Pradesh.

18. AAP effect Chhattisgarh: Delhi's AAP wave has swept into the political corridors in distant Chhattisgarh. Despite a hat-trick, chief minister Raman Singh is worried over Kejriwal's party trying to occupy political space. And he's now making efforts to usher in more transparency in functioning, adopt 'zero tolerance' against corruption and also plans to launch flagship programs in all departments to reach out to the masses.

19. AAP effect Congress Youth: Taking a cue from Aam Admi Party (AAP), which connected with youth through its fight against corruption, Congress party has now fielded its youth wing National Students Union of India (NSUI) to mobilize youngsters through its new campaign 'Youth against Corruption'.

20. AAP effect Jharkhand at GUMLA: A mechanical engineer from the tribal community is busy garnering support for the Aam Aadmi Party in this tribal heartland. He has joined AAP and is also encouraging youths to enrol as its cadres in the district. more
