Prabhu to Fight Corruption
I would like to strongly suggest to the PM to appoint Railway Minister Prabhu to be the national owner of cause of corruption. The way he is using controls, policy, social media, citizen engagement in policy is all very commendable. This should be addl responsibility given to the Rail Minister. This is assuming PM wants to make a marked impact on reducing corruption in India by 2019. Already 2 years have gone and it is high time. Without a ministerial owner CVC alone cannot do much on this cause. more

The corruption cannot be tackled by a Central Minister alone as 70% of public dealing lies with State governments. Central anti corruption bodies cannot touch State Officials/politicians. The State ACBs work under the direct supervision of CM who promotes/encourage corruption. Corrupt officials are directly reporting to CM/HM/FM on daily basis. Under such circumstances, only harsh anti corruption laws with provision for quick conviction can bring down corruption. Such laws should be applicable uniformly to Central & State Govt. machinery. The issue of Lokayukta has since blown over as no politicians wants a powerful & effective institution to tackle the menace of corruption. more

Employees have to struggle for years to get 10% rise whereas the peoples representatives are increasing their wages as per their sweetwill.have they been elected to serve people or loot the public exchequer.under these conditions one cannot expect the system to run smoothly . more

In my view, simple way to check it out that heavy penalties, already CA & other circuits are in action. 1st Ministers has to giveup it. As per Chanakya Arthshastra in democracy people become dishonest as rulers are dishonest. So need to overhaul the ministers mind 1st. more
