Dear Sh Dhananjay Burnwal ji, As per yr comment rebate 2 electricity bills more
Dear Dhananjay Burnwalji, The energy consumption formula is very simple: If 1000 watt is consumed for one hour, then the energy consumption is one unit(taking no loss otherwise into consideration). Any body can check if his energy meter is running fast by recording the energy meter readings in this way(by taking the average of few hrs consumption). At the most he can take the help of an electrician initially. Now if the meter is found running fast the consumer can approach the authority for due rectification. I read all the comments and have realized that we are not ready to pay our due bills. Many of you might not agree with me and may look at me with a very hard look but I would like to bring out few points- (a) I agree that there may be few meters which are running faster. Why not to establish a third party but respected company with a scope of checking meter who ever likes to get them checked with a fee, such agency may be agreed by all three parties, Government, Discoms and consumers. This is only point worth discussion other points may not be useful , how I will tell. (b). Cost of installation and evacuation of power from Solar Power makes it costlier than even Thermal power which Delhi is receiving costing Rs 6.00 per unit or more than that based on amount of power generated. Now every one seem to be thinking it a panache but even state governments are not ready to buy costly Solar Power, Now you decide on your own comment about installing solar power on every roof. (c). Power cost in Delhi is lower than it is in neighboring states like UP which have their own Thermal Plants then how can this be justified most of your claims that power to be cheaper? (d) Arvind Kejariwal has not done any magic he has diverted funds from useful services like roads or hospital to pay electricity bill of some consumer in Delhi. Is that economically justifiable? many of you need to answer this. (e) Regrading replacing public lights with LED ones I would like to remind that these lights are so costly that many of us have not installed in our homes. then how can u assume that these lights will remain safe on roads? more
Dear Amit Mathur ji, Your request 4 reducing power has already been addressed by AK to Sh Vijendra Gupta BJP-MLA-Rohini. AK has welcomed subsidy/rebate beyond 400 units/month consumption suggested by Sh Vijendra Gupta BJP-MLA-Rohini, but requested him to make the center convenience to pay this extra burden(consumption beyond 400 units/month). As BJP is ruling at the center, there wnt b any problem 4 it. AAP has already implemented its poll promise on free water(20KL/month & half power tariff upto 400 units/month as done earlier in 49 days ruling. (This really helps in power & water conservation and people spent them judiciously). Subrta Guha more
In the case of decision taken by Cabinet NCT of Delhi pertining to subsidy given only upto 400 meter reading is not the right decision. Voters who have belief in the AAP ideology has cast his vote in favour of AAP whether he belongs to poor class family, middle class family or rich class family. The subsidy should be given to all house owner residing in Delhi State irrespective the facts whether he consumes upto 400 reading or more. The owner who consume more than 400 meter reading, he should also be allowed to avail facilities upto 400 meter reading and more than 400 reading , the owner will pay as per the standard rate prescribed by the power supply houses. Decision of the Government that who will consumes more than 400 hundred units will not be able to avail subsidy and their charges will be as as per the standard rate prescribed by the power supply houses. I may agree in the case of water that who will consume more than 20 KL will have to pay starting from 01 KL. In btoh the cases, there is lot of difference because the water charges are comparatively much more less than the electric charges. One more fact I would like to highlight about the charges levied by the Power Supply House is that they do not charge as per scale prescribed by them. Owner ho consumes more than 400 units, the rate starts from 400 units i.e the charges are Rs 5.95 /- per unit and not as per scale 1-200 and 201 to 400 units. Thus the Power Supply houses are charging Rs 200/- to 250/- more than the prescribed rates from one house owner. This aspects may be looked into and greater attention is required in this regard. If need be, I ma ready to present the case. Ram Yadav more
