Please takecare while shopping at www.gadgetworld.in an online shopping store.
A consumer complains about problem he is facing for the past few months to Gadgetworld who has shopped through their online shopping site www.gadgetworld.in . The customer is practically struggling to receive his refund. While visiting their online portal that while the site has full fledged online shopping including online payment, it does not contain neither email id of any person or telephone number to be contacted in case the consumer faces any problem. While we are looking into his case for its possible solution, meanwhile we advise everyone to be careful while shopping through the above site. more

Dear Mr. Rajiv, Thanks for your comments. This case does not pertains to me but one of the consumer who faced has reported to me and I thought it fit to issue advisory. The address as stated by you have already been posted by me in the comments on this business in this portal only. The most surprising part is the company is dealing with online shopping has not given email id. It is also stated that the company has stopped responding despite agreeing to refund the money in Nov 2013. The customer somehow obtained mobile number which now is unresponsive. I am trying my best to get him his refund and in the meantime I thought to bring notice to the members to be careful. more

Sorry to know you got conned by the on-line portal of a seedy electronics shop in the bye-lanes of Chennai. Here are some contact details of the shop that may be of some help to you..Gadget World.in, VGP Showroom, VGP Victory House, Shop No. 17 Mount Road Chennai- 600002, Tel Nos. 044-39155555, 9962115555, 9962155555. Approach them directly with details and i am sure they will respond. But we all have to be aware of crooks operating on-line businesses and one would do well to shop only from reputable international vendors. more
