Parking Fee
Seems DM has banned 11 people from entering noida under goodna act as they were illegally collecting parking fee. How do we know that our parking lot care taker is genuine and is not just wearing noida authority t shirts

High parking fees was required to be there as we realise the importance of the thing by the cost we have to incur on that. You must appreciate that in Sector 18 where you were used to chaotic traffic conditions is now lots more comfortable to enter and get a place to park your vehicle. Anybody scared of high cost of parking should use public transport. This will help to reduce number of vehicles out on the road causing irritating levels of pollution. more

I tend to agree with Amitabh. Use of public transport will, in addition to parking costs, reduce the traffic on the road, thereby reducing atmospheric pollution. But who will take this initiative? Certainly not the higher middle class & above. Since their pockets are heavy, let the parking rates be increased further in the shopping areas. more

Why not boycott parking areas and not get personal vehicle to the shopping areas . Use public transportation more

Let the parking lots be given to any contractor by the Noida Authority, but name(s) of contractors should feature on the website, along with the applicable rates. There should be a facility to purchase parking slots on monthly/ quarterly rentals and the amount should be payable through digital transactions. Cash dealings may be restricted to casual visitors only. Rates for monthly/ quarterly parking should be substantially lower than the rates for casual parking. This would help one and all. more
