Parking charges in MCD parkings Delhi
Lets Fight for parking charges in MCD parkings communicity Centres, Markets which are running under MCD parkings.
Recently there is high court(Allahabad) verdict in noida authority parking charges to slash down the hourly parking charges
and make the fix parking charges for whole day from 9 AM to 11 PM. Now the Loot is stopped and 20 Rs fix is being charged for Car and 10 Rs for Bike parking.
I had seen in Many DDA running community centres that Parking Mafias are charging 20 Rs per hour and If I have parked my vehicle for 3 hours I am being charged
60RS and so on. I have written to MCDs and riased my concerns on PGPORTAL.GOV.IN but all request went in vain.
When We buy any New Vehicle in Delhi MCD parking charges are being charged at the time of registering the Vehicle.
If this is parking charges at the time of regstartion , why we are being charged in MCD parkings again and again.
Why we are being charged 20 Rs per hour ,40 rs /2 hrs and so on? It should be a max 20 Rs for Cars and 10 rs for bikes.
Lets raise our voice and dont be the silent victims of looters.

Thoughts may be different ...But anyways Most of the people think ..its unjustified to take per hour parking charges. If you see in Noida there is a high court verdict applicable from 16 January 2016 that a flat parking rate will be charged as 20 Rs irrespective of hours. Between 9 Am to 11 PM. The complain was initiated by Srikant vaidya a resident of Sector 15 Noida. My question is ...How We can raise this issue to Govt first...if there is no action we should move to court. Please anyone let us know whats the procedure to write to Govt officials on this. more

Then whom to contact for this...lets come together and have a demonstration on PARKING so that it would be visible to Govt and they may think to work in this area. more

SAQIB ZAKARIYA JI, i fully agree with you. There should be proper justification regarding charging of parking of vehicles on daily basis and not on hour basis. more
