@ Mr. Oberoi! Are you now trying to justify the FDI in Defence? Invest all Indian budget to Defence though you will not find peace. Indian politicians lack the will to solve this situation. Whether BJP or UPA, no one wants to solve "Mudda" jo khatm ho jayega. There are various other ways to tackle the situation. BJP made a nuke test and shouted victory: ground reality: Pakistan did the same within a week. "wedge deep into Pak"? Neither BJP nor UPA will do this. more

Pakistan has a weak PM who is unable to control his Military and the Military in Pakistan can survive only through the display of enmity with India, even at the cost of going to war and suffering a defeat at the hands of Indian Army. Repeated Govts in India, particularly the previous Govt have weakened the Indian Defence Forces through the denial of their up gradation with modern weapons. We can have peace with Pakistan only by developing a very strong Army, Navy and Air Force, capable of taking the war and driving a wedge deep into the heartland of Pakistan. The Congress has denied that capability and our present Govt will require time to acquire that capability. Till that time, we will have to live with this adventurism of Pakistan. more
