P M's frequent overseas trips-Are they too many ?

In the last two years, Mr. Modi has made many overseas trips and so far ,such trips have been justified by the pledged admirers of Mr. Modi , who argue that they are necessary to build India’s relationships and strengthen the trade and business promotion as well as investment activities.
Nevertheless, there have been criticisms also, which Mr.Modi appears to have ignored.

The present trip to Africa have made many people wonder as to whether Mr. Modi derives pleasure in such trips. His wearing Madiba shirt and playing drums reinforces such view. Friends of Mr. Modi may think that such criticisms are unjustified and silly.

But , unfortunately, such criticisms are sticking and even make some people think that such news about the foreign trips of Mr. Modi and the photographs appearing in his twitter too frequently may be becoming an eyesore.

Ofcourse, this may not be the majority opinion but certainly considerable section of the country men share this view. Even as Mr. Modi is returning from Africa, people are discussing as to what would be his next overseas destination.

It would do good if someone would have the courage to tell Mr. Modi about such rapidly developing public perspective about his frequent overseas trips. No Prime Minister can afford to ignore such public perspective.

Mr.Venkataraman there are two reasons for his recent visit to Africa. First he has visited the nations which are not frequently by our PMs. You must have noted his visit this time was followup of our president and other important leaders visit. The recent NSG meet must have proved how important is to keep all the nations on the balance. Also remember he is spreading the influence of India among all countries with the ultimate goal of achieving UN security council permanent membership. These are long term goals. secondly if people are wondering why he played drums and other show ups, they are ignorant about the psychology of African people. I visited Africa many times and those people simply love these gestures. more
This appears to be personnel opinion of Mr. venkataraman formed under influence of power hungry politicians. People perception is entirely different. more
No body denies he is a hard working PM with a vision. But what about our own country. more
Modiji is re-developing the world wide good relations which were gone down in last two decades, which is very necessary, but he should also focus in National problems which he promissed at the time of election i.e. Dhara 370 in Kashmir, High Rates, Jobs in India etc. Today all the parties are doing nothing just blaming each other on small small topics. more
I wonder how people start representing others and start talking on behalf of the nation. I wish we should have guts to say it is my opinion. When in service i was looking for business in Africa and other central Asia countries. I was shocked to see China was present in all these countries decades earlier with a few million line of credit and had got first move advantage and created good will and we were finding it very difficult to compete with Chinese firms and gain ground there. I wish our leaders should have thought of this three decades back, our exports would have been much higher and we would have the support of all these small nations. Modi is doing great job to cover up that lost ground. You must understand by giving a few Million line of credit to small nations we create great good will and business for Indian firms. This cannot work in developed countries. Lastly he does not let his work suffer in India. You must admire after four days tour he lands in India and after two hours he is chairing the meeting on Kashmir situation. You must admire that. How many PMs did earlier more
