Online E-Commerce - What sites to avoid

Local Circle friends -

can we please rate some of the dot coms, esp the ones that must be avoided. My husband wants to keep ordering online and I keep asking him to hold given all the scams that i keep hearing. Only ones we have used are flipkart and amazon and been happy with delivery.

Would really appreciate if the sites can be rated for everyone's benefit. I saw some from Sh Mahesh Chandra and Sh. Brij Gupta and it helps. more

I have used Yebhi.com and Myntra and they are OK. I was not satisfied with Home Shop18. Yes online shopping is economical and it saves time and hassle more
well khan sahab is also right . . physical shopping has its own pleasure and online shopping has its own benefit. What i have experienced is that i get cheaper bargains in physical shopping . . anyway . . enjoy both . . more
I have used groupon, flipkart, snapdeals, ebay, jabong, and found them satisfactory. In my experience most of the items bought online are cheaper than market unless you are okay to go and try the whole sale market , but you also need to add up the time and money you spent on travelling to these market. Ultimately online shopping is easy, time saving, environment friendly (you avoid carbon foot print by avoiding driving) and should be encouraged. more
Pepperfry.com, tradus, shopclues, flip kart, eBay have been used by us. All are fine as per our experience. But all are not cheap. U will get better bargain in market. But go for something exclusive only or when u have discount VOUCHERS .... 30 percent 50 percent etc are all useless on these sites. Avoid naaptol.com, snapdeal, homeshop18 . Sites like Groupon, Jabong, Ebay, amazon, flipkart and those based on international platforms with a dedicated customer care address/contact and providing replacement warranty are to be preferred. OlX and some such sites are again hype and attract more of nuisance and cannot be relied upon for serious buying and selling and Local sites tend to misrepresent and some even push in products from grey market as they have no check on credential of sellers. Avoid a vendor/seller/buyer which is not contactable or available within physical reach. You have no protection of your rights if you deal with such vendors. more
