Occupancy Certificates
Seems like the Crystal Tower in Mumbai that caught fire yesterday was a building where people were staying without the occupancy certificate.
Can someone please explain whether occupancy certificate is to be gotten by builder only once?
What about if conditions of the building deteriorate due to rains, poor maintenance etc etc? Does Noida Authority visit it again any time in the life of the building to ensure if its safe to live?

Although both fire and lift licence are supposed to be renewed periodically,but unfortunately the same can be obtained by the builders like OC ,even without meeting the basic norms. We all are leaving Bhagwan Bharose. more

Mr Akhil Kumar Bansal does not seem to understand what I wrote. If you have any wrong impressions, please correct your thinking. Read once again, what I wrote. I agree with Mr. Prem Vashisht and Mr. Parashar. Obviously the concerned persons in the Noida Authority are not doing their job. more

Noida Authority giving OC for incomplete buildings, knowing building is far from completion, even internal plaster and kifts are not done, with RERA as a requirement they just 2/3rd people to give their consent that it is done as pet the specifications stated in tge brochure, probably builder trying to save in penalty. People may demand Guest Car Parkings since the builders are selling entire car parkings and visitors are forced to park on the Service lanes, Builders may be responsible for next 10 years for any deficiencies in product commitments, These days Builders are taking 100 oercent, making buyers to register and then you keep in waiting fir years JAYPEE is ine such rxample, Thanks more

Are We not expecting little extra from Noida Authority? The suggested responsibility in my opinion can be expected from Authority like municipalities/ corporation and not from the organisation whose agenda is to purchase land from farmers, develop and sale to fecilitate to accommodate excess population of Delhi more
