Objectives of Collectors to promote Start Ups

Can something be done by Start up India such that there is a KRA for district collectors through the performance management system of GOI that involves making their district business and start up friendly. Just a wild idea, thinking how there is systemic incentive to change things on the ground.. more

The collector is already involved with the startup facilitation through the intervention of DIC. But to encourage growth of startups, there is a need to encourage bright technical graduates and postgraduates about to pass out from premier engineering colleges or business schools with all kinds of infrastructural support and funding needs. more

A small scrutiny panel at district level may consist Asst Director/ Joint Director Industries as chairman Head of department of reputed aided engineering college of concerning technology segment as one member One professor of marketing for Govt college as one member One Industry representative of MSME - as one member The above proposed panel may scrutiny and conduct interview with the start up and recommend for next level to MSME/ venture funding or advise to fulfill certain requirements for review after specific period. This will boost local entrepreneurship with youth stopping migration to state capitals. more
