Noida a Better Place
Cleanliness, Encroachment, Wrong Side Driving - All these have not seen any change over the last few months. Garbage dumping has become the norm and one can see garbage piles right on the road mostly in areas where offices are located esp in Sector-58, 59, 62, 63 24 (near ESI Hospital). We have been posting on the Circle for quite some time but I don't see any action on the ground at all. Now, even road dividers are fast becoming and ideal place for drying "Cow Dung Cakes" making the divider almost invisible during night not to mention the stench and the mess they create when it rains.
There seems to be zero enforcement on these things, despite government promises and civic authority commitments. Residents are also equally responsible for littering the street.
Apart from the above, It is also noticed that resident come out for walks to take care of their health and after their walk/jog is done, they find it perfectly natural to urinate in the Storm Water Drain adjoining parks without giving a thought to their actions and in full public view and this is done by Educated Citizens, who are nicely attired in Jogging Tracks and shoes.
Will Noida Authority/Noida Police take note of these transgresses and act on the offenders for their respective jurisdictional areas? more

In Sector 135, People are dumping kachra and waste in the open drain & around towards a big open land. This will result in mosquito menace in ensuing summer & monsoon months. more

Very true, ocassionally have seen the area got clean, when our Prime Minister was visiting sector 62 !! more

True.....I so much wish for the "burey din" to be back. Under this government, our city has become a totally wretched broken down one. Useless roads, corrupt officials, encroachment on roads, garbage, office buildings covering up 80% of road (Okaya Centre, IBM office buildings, etc. etc.). Earlier there used to be regular pickup of garbage, road repairs. Now, nothing. Don't even talk of law and order. Yesterday itself I had to shout and make teenagers drive off from front of my kothi in RN Block in Sec 62 - beer session and chicken session was going on among the boys and girls. Shameful. Only concentration is on winning elections and by-elections. I sincerely wish this government goes away so that we can get back our city to livable conditions. more

My road is a back road in the RN Block of Sector 62. The Street lights have not been working for past one month, NOIDA Authority says it doesn't have a repair van, the area becomes dark. So underage kids buy alcoholic drinks from the store next to Patanjali, and come into these dark back streets and drink (with music, snacks from roadside vendors - who are again encroachments, smoking).......after last night's episode, I was telling wife, see, this is how accidents happen as was shown in TOI yesterday (where 5 students were in a car crash driven by a drunk 19 year old, and two kids died). more

Noida Authority/ Noida Police seem to be helpless spectators like the general public. If a FIR is lodged, there is no feed back received; if a service request is communicated to the concerned Deptt, there is no follow up; one eventually ends up with frustration. It is totally disgusting. more

Basant sir, at least I had the pleasure of receiving a response. Even though it was not what I wanted. The response I got was a sms saying that complaint has been attended to and resident is satisfied, hence closing complaint!!! No one came, no work was done, yet complaint was closed within 2 weeks! more
