No one is above law, but..........?

Law is made to provide justice to the sufferer. Also being subjective in nature, law is a matter of interpretation. Judgements are given the way law is interpreted. Rules of the law meant for social justice can easibly be interpreted to benefit the particular complainant/ defendant arbitrarily by going with the words of law rather than the spirit behind it.

"No one is above law" is ironically quite evident from the following latest incidents:

1) 5 UGC staff revealing actual qualifications of HRD Minister have been suspended. This shows that the minister who misquoted her qualification
, instead of providing evidence in support of her declared qualification, punished the UGC staff for revealing the truth. The question is whether sending UGC staff to jail will make her qualified or ratify the wrong committed by her.

2) Kejriwal was sent to jail for revealing the truth about our minister. Court was not interested to see the proofs against Gadkari to ascertain whether he rightly deserved to be defamed. The question is whether sending Kejriwal to jail will make the corrupt uncorrupt or ratify Gadkari's all wrong doings.

NO ONE IS ABOVE LAW. BUT THE QUESTION IS:

Is the term 'NO ONE' inclusive or exclusive??

I think that here comes the significance of Jan Lok Pal bill and Swaraj by empowering people which is much superior than benefitting people. more

You are hoping against hope Sudrashan ji. Have you not heard? Yatha Raja tatha Praja. With Modi at the helm, no one will dare even think of making money. more
Judiciary must be above all in a democracy to bring balance of power and misuse of it but the quantum of justice delivered to aam aadmi is dismal and somber and when analysed in broader perspective it interprets a rendition of zero divided by any mega number. The right thinking people of all segments of society must sit and focus over nonperformance of this great institution. APP must focus over issues of thousands of innocent children getting missed and lost monthly without any sympathy from UPA or NDA to them and their parents in addition to cruelty over female gender. more
I understand fighting corruption is in the 100-day action plan of Modi Govt. No details are available as to how they will go about it. Who will be interested to carry this fight further in the Modi Govt when most of them may find themselves in the list of accused? more
The fact is so clear that it doesn't need an argument. In the first case, action against staff just because she is now a powerful. Second case is so poorly handled that it made the judiciary a joke in public. After a long fight, Arvind's personal bond ( a self hand written letter ) had to be accepted as a basis of his release. People must not defend wrong steps of judiciary. It is already known to public who made his servant, cook, driver and gardener as owner of various companies. Instead, NaMo is forming a team to fetch the black money. People are still defending these corrupt politicians is very unfortunate. more
Dear Ganga Ram ji, it is the prerogative of the judge to accept a bond or not. AK was trying to overawe the judge which is not good. He should reserve his energy to the original issue of corruption - both BJP and Congress brand - instead of this dramabazi. more
