No masks and no social distancing practiced by most residents
I go for cycling around sector 31 and 36 Noida in the morning from 0700 to 0830.
This morning, I am really saddened to notice that very few persons including Noida authority sanitation staff are wearing masks or wearing them properly with the nose being covered.
At the Pan/Cigarette kiosks on the road between sector 36 and 37 leading towards the metro - neither the shop owner nor the public are wearing any masks and I don't see any sanitizer or social distancing.
Some dog walkers are similarly not wearing masks properly.
It's a sad state of affairs.
I stopped and spoke with some of the Pan wallas and sanitation staff and get all kinds of response - from immediate compliance to excuses.
I wonder if the beat constables can sensitise people or threaten to fine them.
If no action is taken - God help us all! more

It is not at all surprising that the daily +ve persons in Noida .... the figure is going upto +40. We are heading for trouble just like Delhi. more

In my society ie Kendriya Vihar II, Sector 82, the residents are very conscious about social distancing and other safety measures. They also keep track of COVID-19 cases around through app. more

The situation as described by Mr Chaturvedi is same in our Sector 137 also...All paan and tambakoo wallas, sabzi thela walas and other street vendors are violating self precautions...the saddest part is that even educated people who buy from them are also without masks and not following social distancing....the country has climbed up to fifth position in the global ranking in number of cases and if this situation continues and the admin/police personnel do not come down heavily on violators, we would soon be behind USA and Brazil....then God save us all....the situation in all probabilities will worsen after the Phase 1 relaxations having been implemented from today... more

You are absolutely correct. In sector 62 parks in the morning , I find 80 percent educated people do not wear masks more

Mr Chaturvedi is right in his observation, I also saw many of the people inside society road /housing area road/shops etc are not wearing mask. And they have petty excuses ready .... more
