No confidence a blessing in disguise for Mr. Modi

In the last four years, several meaningful measures have been taken by Modi government which have far reaching significance for future of India. As he has attempted to change for better the way of functioning of government machinery, manner in which business are carried out etc. there have been criticism too by people inconvenienced by such measures.

The progress has not been as promised by Mr. Modi but it has not been due to want of his efforts. Most of the problems relating to corruption and caste conflicts in India are due to mindset of the people developed over last several decades and Mr. Modi has certainly made a beginning to make positive change for the better.

However, inspite of many criticisms, as people’s expectations have not been adequately met, it is very clear that large section of Indian population do not suspect the intentions of Mr. Modi or his strength of character or courage of conviction. So far, the criticism on the Modi government has been focused towards the evaluation of Mr. Modi’s performance with the targets and standards set for himself by Mr. Modi.

With the no confidence motion now moved by the opposition parties and the 2019 national election not far away, people inevitably would start comparing Mr. Modi as a person and leader with those who want to replace him. The no confidence motion will clearly highlight the huge difference between Mr. Modi and the opposition and people will inevitably see this.

The pledged critics of Mr. Modi will not see the difference but by and large, the people will do.

When people have to make a choice as they exercise their franchise in 2019, they will inevitably realize that Mr. Modi stands much taller than his opponents.

No confidence motion will initiate the trend of people evaluating the difference between Mr. Modi and the opposition leaders and deciding who should be entrusted with the governance after 2019.

In this respect, Mr. Modi has huge advantage.

All this 'assumes' Modi Ji or for that matter BJP are supposed to be working for the nation. They are political parties, with the difference Modi Ji wants more and more power for HIMSELF. No doubt Modi Ji and BJP shout 'Bharat Mata kee Jai' 'Vandematram' etc more loudly, but that is also when these catchy phrases attract more votes, for example they shout 'Gau Mata kee Jai' in North, but not in Goa or North East, right. There were disproportionate assets cases going on against leading politicians in for example, in UP, but no progress because the political parties carry valuable Rjya Sabha votes, and more benefit from those cases is when CBI brings out certain action when the elections are just two or fewer months away. Yes, Modi Ji is a shrewd politician, right now it is time to collect more party funds, all BJP leaders will like going on electioneering on chartered flights. So right now Neerav Modi, Vilay Mallya, Lalit Modi all those are very important. Look CBI investigations against 2G scamsters all were botched up, the judges dutifully reprimanded the investigating agencies and all acquitted. Later on ofcourse CBI offices will get suitably rewarded, promotions etc. But it may not come that easy in courts in foreign countries so extra efforts what is to be disclosed and what is not to be disclosed and the final decision why the fugitives cant be extradited- all these are political decisions! To me we should be more circumspect. Thus farmers in Mumbai/ Maharashtra showed good camaraderie and large vote bank, so first priority is whatever of tax payer's money has been left behind by the likes of Chota Modi, Vijay Mallya etc how large a share of that in the form of loan wavers/ double or more the minimum support price for crops etc, to the farmers will help get that vote bank etc- and then there are public to shout 'Bharat Mata kee Jai!' and to be made convinced that that is the best service to the nation! more
Here is the news link for reference regarding Amendment mentioned by me.http://www.indiaspend.com/cover-story/in-30-minutes-without-debate-lok-sabha-clears-2-bills-218-amendments-61991 more
Modi ji Government is certainly behaving as Govt. of and for the BJP followers, not for the country or its entire population. This is evident by no action being taken on people openly fanning enmity between groups to the extent of killing some of the innocent citizens/critics. Most recent event is Amendment passed in parliament without any discussion by retrospective legalization (since 1970) of foreign funding to political parties. Beneficiaries are quite evident. I believe someone will soon justify this action. more
Fully agree with the contents. You cannot expect Modi to rectify and streamline everything within a short span of 4-5 years. However he should put down the fringe elements associated with the ruling Party well in time, who are responsible for all negative publicity for the Govt. and also helped the opposition to a great extend. Modi should go for course correction and should retain power in 2019 for the betterment of the nation and it's people. more
Wish God blesses with enough courage to Mr. Modi not to be deterred by the negative disturbances encouraged by the defective, inconvenienced politicians. Concerned Authorities must award exemplary punishment to the ant-India/constitution biters, lest reforms would break down.Lack of information is the cause of recent bypolls and defective elements are the cause of scams.LET THE PEOPLE BEWARE. more
