New to circle

I am retired person coming from Delhi. I have lot of subjects to share but my first impression about Maharashtra is that "Mind Set"to every activities make people strong. Example, I took out my new shoes and chappel out of the door and left whole night, early morning I found out that it is there in same place. If this can happen in Maharashtra why not in other part of the country. When I asked my son who is staying in Navi mumbai since last 12years informed that no steeling of shoes and chappel till date. Surprised. more

I am a resident of Maharashtra since 1976 , (barring the interval 1981-1988, even during this interval used to be a frequenter - whether for a day or for weeks). My initial experience was also for a super-high esteem). Reference is being made restricting only for stealing shoes. Kindly be informed that one Commissioner of Police found his shoes stolen from Police Gymkhana, while he was working out inside. Every state-city has got good as also bad area, likewise for people. Only place in India (incidentally at Maharashtra only) is 'Shani-Singnapur' where no theft takes place. I have not visited that place - but heard that a no. of houses do not shut their doors, no lock can be found in that village. But due to reason known possibly only to Shanidev, He has not distributed His grace-authority likewise to every nook and corner of Maharashtra. more

I agree. According tome Delhi is the worst City I have experienced. Have traveled extensively allover the country and in Mumbai now, because of its qualities. Yes Mumbai is changing due to influx of people from outside especially Bihar & UP. They need to change, to keep Mumbai the best place to live in. more
