Multinational - Big 5-Local CA-Tax Bribes
For those who do not know, Bribe payments from many multinational companies to tax officers have been channeled through some of the Big 5 firms who in turn hire local CAs to pay the bribe. CAs include it in their professional services bill to the Big 5

" good honest officers in government" to find them is the Main Problem, as the very system is totally rotten. But one must appreciate that due to these (Few) good honest officers in government the social system including the Govt. is running today/till date. The Selecting Authorities itself full with nepotism and favoritism due to which the selection also deserve the same results. One can very well visualize that the Lobby of these people prevails. The arrest/detention of Senior Officials with Hard Cash of Rs. 65,00,000/- is a good example. The IT dept had transfer the matter to local ACB, which itself got similar matter wherein the Senior ACB Officer (from Latur District) was trapped by the Police of another District. The recent arrest of UT Commissioner with in-proportionate assets worth several hundreds of crors of rupees is another exampled to observe. CA's are the Link between the TWO - should not be an exception. The Suggestion of making the corruption official is therefore Drastic. more

Most of the bribes are routed through CA to concerned departments. No invoices are raised.CA are also notorious for suggesting wrong means to make black in to white. more

Corruption is in our blood. Though all political parties including BJP shout that they are against corruption but in reality all political parties support and grow corruption. With all common men who are not benifitted by corruption shouting against corruption, it will remain in INDIA and will grow. more
