51% citizens cutting spending due to rising petrol diesel prices
Many of you participated in the petrol diesel price rise survey of the circle which is carried by various media outlets today. Below is the full report:
Petrol Diesel Price Rise Survey
The survey suggests that 51% of us are cutting spending and 21% of us are even cutting essentials spending. Also, we want both Central Govt to provide excise relief and State Govt to provide VAT relief.
You are requested to share the same as widely as possible with all contacts as well as social media. It is important that the Governments understand the pain of the common citizen and the fact that the Covid recovery is likely to get derailed unless actions are taken to reduce price of petrol and diesel.

Seeing the Impact of Covid and loss of Jobs for many, Govt should reduce its spending on Infrastructure. Thus they can give relief on Patrol, Diesel and other places wherever it is possible. People are hard pressed specially non pensioner Senior Citizens. more

Let them cut the salaries and pensions of government servants and abolish all VIP privileges. None of them deserve what is paid to them; all corrupt to the core. more

Government should roll back excise duty on petroleum products, which was imposed during COVID. The public at large are not impressed with the price rise, when government is earning good amount from GST collection. more

How is that petrol price is very low in many parts of the globe only in our country it is rising never happened in the past, whether the government can not control this or allowing this. more

Over the last one year, petrol prices have fallen everywhere else. In USA it is fallen well below $ 3/gallon. Here whenever international prices fall, government increases the taxes to get more money, so our prices never go down. They go up. more
