I agree with Vinita Ji. With Local Circle, mohalla Sabha can be implemented very easily. The only issue might be that some of the existing RWA members may not be technology savy and therefore should get tech equipped or be replaced with people who are tech savy.
I am yet to join the Sector 15a Noida circle but my wife is a part of it. more
It would also be interesting to see what parts of Bhagidari infrastructure are picked up by Arvind Kejriwal and what is left alone. I agree with Azam's process. The harder challenge may be the configuration of Mohalla Sabha. more
Big question Mr. Dutta would be that whether the MLA MCD DJB etc will be willing to join the colony circle. I think unless they are pushed from top levels like Arvind Kejriwal and cabinet ministers, they won't. more
Great points. I think given that the party is young, it will drive dynamic or young leadership into mohallas as well and if that happens, technology is the best way to stay connected. I agree with you Mr Dutta. Businesses do seem a bit sceptical about AAP. But to me, if you clean up governance and enable fast decision making, more companies will automatically come to India. Right now with India's transparency ranking being 94 and problems, no one wants to come to India. Only companies with long term perspective are coming. Like you I am a fan and a user of LocalCircles since it was rolled out in my apartment at Greater Noida. I think most members probably don't know that they can connect with their colony or rather "Mohalla" right here. more
