MISCHIEVOUS CALL FOR KARNATAKA FLAG
Many Indians would have been shocked to know about the move of the Karnataka government to have separate flag for Karnataka. Chief Minister of Karnataka has now formed a committee to advice him as to whether separate flag for Karnataka would be legally permissible.
It is very important that a detailed enquiry should be conducted to find out as to why the Karnataka Chief Minister has made this suggestion at this time.
It may be that his real intention is to plant the idea of separate flag for the state in the mind of the people and provoke a debate , which would ultimately lead to the strengthening of separatist forces in India.
Today, most politicians are suspected by the people. Karnataka Chief Minister need to prove that he has not brought this suggestion at the behest of someone else.

Interesting to read comments on the equally interesting subject raised by Mr Venkataraman. But then, is the subject really that interesting? Haven't we seen different football clubs or baseball clubs or cricket clubs etc. having a flag/emblem of their own? Have they been "judged" for that? Friends of the Circle! it should be considered as a matter of pride if different States in a country are known by the emblems/flags that they wish to be known by. That does not denote their wanting to dissociate themselves from the country to which they belong. Have a look at the european countries; you'll find States of a country hosting their State banners wherever they can. And yet their allegiance to the Centre is unquestionable. Hope this would help convince our fellow negative-thinkers to revise their opinion! more

It is purely a foolish idea on the part of the CM. It clearly shows the calibre of a CM that the Congress Party is currently having wherever they are in power. i fail to understand how a CM got the idea of having a separate Flag for his state and the entire so called congressmen/statesmen are keeping quite. This shows how ignorant these people are and the poor state is being blamed for their error. Instead of initiating a dialogue on the Cauvery water sharing, the CM has formed a committee to look into the legality of having a separate flag for his state. What a shame||| more

Government of India should immeditely and may be Supreme Court of india as well immediately pass a law, one country one flag and NO STATE FLAGS AT ALL. This is something new which may emerge and even LITTLE later will be too late to extinguish this wild fire. This issue could be one which will crack or break the country. This should be given utmost attention and urgency, to kill right now, as I said earlier LITTLE LATE WILL BE TOO LATE ! ! more
