Medical Device Corruption
There is major corruption around sale of medical devices to hospitals in India. Doctors and Hosptals are raking in the moolah while common citizens are forced to pay extra by 100-800%
Can we all go through attached and the share corruption issues we may have experienced ourselves, friend, family. Its big. Multinational companies are bribing and deserve prosecution for it.

under free Medical schemes for the poor the hospitals are playing too much by not providing free treatment to the Below Poverty Line patients and collect extra money for the treatment given,though the hospital has to provide free treatment. This has to be stopped and looked into by all the citizens more

The plight of Mr. Sharma is quite understandable and there are lot who still suffer from this kind of fast buck making by the Hospitals and even high ups in the government are well aware of the practices. One wonders why the government is not taking any corrective step so that such incidents do not recur. It is high time that government steps in and set proper guide lines in so far as pricing/billing for services provided by the hospitals with proper supporting bills duly authenticated by the patient's immediate relative. This will certainly give some idea about the quantum of money involved in the treatment process and enable the person responsible for making the payment plan in advance. Further, the government should step in immediately if there is any variation or additional demand before the patient is discharged by the hospital and impose penalty at once so that there is no room for any negotiation/under the table dealing. more

In Electrical Distribution companies lot of corruption is going on. Existing system like Lokayukta , police , ACB , complaining to the higher and highest officer will not work. We have to find effective methods and techniques procedure to be followed etc is to be followed has to be finalized duly conducting meetings. I paid an advance of RS 3.1lakh for Knee replacement surgery of my wife to Primus hospital in October 2018.Surgery was done on 21oct .At the time of release from hospital on 26oct 2018, I was asked to pay RS 10000.00 more towards cost of implant on the ground that prices have increased. I asked for the bill of cost which they didn't show. A patient wants to leave hospital, so I had to pay extra amount. In addition they asked for more money towards cost of medicines used without any bill. How much can a patient fight with these people. Only medicine they were giving in hospital was crocin. One can imagine the loot. more
