Made in India

Modi Govt wants that India should manufacture their own products,
then why should we not promote dabur Red which is far far better than Colgate, why we are importing such things from foreign country.

India is capable of manufacturing their own products but is it liked by the present super power as we are very much dependent on loan from World bank

Why we are failed to recognise our medical degree in foreign countries

such things should also be addressed in US & other countries more

Since swearing-in as the 15th Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014, Modi seems to be loosing his bold voice. Modi wave seems fading away in front of common citizen of India. BJP's failure in the bypolls, Maharashtra fighting situation, unethical moves in Delhi have brought the reality to the surface. Despite aggressive campaigning, the BJP could only bag two of the nine seats in UP. Bringing back the black money is a lost topic. Not a single action seen yet which can curb corruption at any level. Is this the point where the NaMo dilemma vanishes? more
I know ..... plz don't send me this type of message. On 9/25/14, BASANT RAM NAGAR wrote: > more
Corruption free atmosphere, license, electricity, Taxation etc. etc. means until we have the infrastructure improved, this "Make in India" is impossible. Manufacturers cannot be held responsible for building or improving the Infrastructure. When Modi says "Make in India", I hope he does not impose the burden of building infrastructure on poor Indians. Land acquisition, Ignored irrigation make farmers suffer. Highly challenging new projects eat up our tax money. Poor remains poor. Middle class becoming poor as well. The rich becoming richer. In the name of infrastructure, nation can easily be fooled. With absolute power, this government is free to impose any burden on the nation. Make in India sounds odd when our own Small scale and cottage industry is being ignored. Where does he apply "Make in India"? more
Yes Basant ji, you are 100% right. Mae in India means to flourish corporate houses. No simple person establish his/her own industry. In the name of make India, our all remaining resources will be handed over to the corporate houses. Why we are not increasing small scale industries which were back bone of India before 1990. Small scale industries will grow employment to the local and things from needle/pin to ship and aeroplane will be manufactured in India only. We are exporting our raw minerals/ore iron/other metals at very nominal rate, develop these metals in other countries and import that developed metals at very very high price. For an example, ore iron is exported @ Rs 45/- a ton and imported the steel @ 45000/- a ton. This is one type of grand corruption like Coalgate and 2G scame. more
i welcome overseas investment in our country. but what about our own small scale manufacturers who are backbone of our country. on an average any manufacturing unit has to face 15 different departments on monthly basis. with red tape and corruption in blood of these departments how can you expect our manufacturing unit to survive. if modi ji is really serious about manufacturing in india, first we need to set our administration right and people of india should be encouraged to start manufacturing by giving them right atmosphere. at this moment it looks like begging rather than inviting. more
