Loot by private maternity hospital in Karnal
My wife got admitted in Dr archana hospital in Karnal on 31.12.2016 night and during admission in hospital their staff member handed over discharge card to sign that she is discharged from hospital. And on the same papers they got sign of my elder brother also as witness and took it from us. After that doctor came and created panic that baby has done laterine inside. So will have to operate and as it was night there was not any option before me because of my wife's labour pain. We stayed there for four days and I observed that only one delivery was normal otherwise all were by operation due to same reasons as high BP, inside potty by baby, baby in opposite direction, cord around neck etc. And the doctor misbehaves in the manner that one is their prisoner not a patient. I could not understand how one can do this type of things. more

Things are not as public think some time doctor judgement or opinion may be different ,but do not think doctors are doing intentionally . In private hospitals doctor are more careful and they do not want to take risk foetal asphyxia and complications of brain anoxia which may present in later life of child . more

Thanks to all of you for the suggestions....obviously I could go to any other hospital but after operation and delivery it's not easy for one to get admission in any other hospital....as advised by GC Gupta ji.. more

Me too faced this at Gurgaon only, as if there are too many options available - I got my wife discharged as doctor said the cord around the neck and took her to another hospital but they also kept her in pain for around two hours and said the same thing , so I decided to get her operated. The thing is every private hospital is same - if you can take consultation and all from private hospital and at the time of delivery- took the pregnant to government hospital for delivery. more
