Loan waiver for farmers is good thing. But it hits common man. The Govt. have the compansate .This is a burden to the common man and heart burning to those who have paid the loan. Why agriculture loan be given at very low rates say 3% or even lower and no waiver. more

Loan waiver is not a solution It is Tax payers money which is being used for Loan waiver. What about those have paid their loan. This will in long run make all persons who have taken loan stop paying in hope of waier more

In this country there is hardly 5% people pay income tax.Do you believe all balance 95% earn less than 5% tax payer?This is a BIG MOCKERY of the system.In Agriculture area there are many so called FARMERS WHO ARE FILTHY RICH.Has Govt ever though of Taxing such people?Truth is that they have a lobby and are politically most powerful.Another thing is Agriculture is state subject and hence buck passing is going on between Centre and States.Poor farmers can be given relief,but this relief MUST be recovered from RICH FARMERS and common man must be spared. more

+Now loan waiver is a fashion to get political mileage.Govt declared so many crores of rupees of loan has been waived. ok.v. Good .Well done. Govt gets the credit including the opposition. After all who will pay the amount. of course the taxpayer. Whose number is very less and the burden goes to the honest middle class man.
Many times it is in news that the grains or the onions or the potatoes are kept outside the storage house and due to rain all have rotten . What it indicates? After all why a farmer needs its loan to be waived? The answer is very simple either the farmer is poor or the he did not get the return in comparision with the expenditure. Does the govt ever think the root cause of not getting good return.
In my opinion waiving the loan is not the permanent solution. We have to make the farmer self sufficient .A scientific solution to the root cause of not having good return is the answer .Bring its product direct to the consumer such that it get more return. Provide loan to the farmer through bank at low interest. Crop insurance for each at least poor farmer is to be made compulsory.Instead of making mass loan waive the real needy farmer should be helped.
Otherwise it will become a practice in future like the Bharat Bandh or the damage made to public property in any bandh or the reservation to this cast or that cast etc .It is really a mockery of the system and the poor middle class people suffer at last. more

The Waiver is not going for the Poor Farmers... its just the RICH and Political so called farmers going to get the WAIVER and Enjoy...
No one is actually concern about the REAL Farmer,who's bread and butter is on that ...
If the WAIVER has to be given then the govt. need to verify first the REAL Farmer who's Living thing is based on it....
Why cant we by pass all the between agents and give the benefit directly to FARMERS in selling their product(vegetables and all).
If he get the LOAN also again and when the CROP is good again the same story is being REPEATED..

We as a common man give our views for any issue we see as our own and for the betterment of the system. We however, fail to understand that each component in the system has its own target but for solving the problem. They look at as an opportunity to go ahead through different means e.g. politician get milage by wavier, Some people get opportunity to prepare fake papers for making people eligible for wavier, lending organizations have their own issues, some people feel continuance of the problem is must for their own existance, and ........................... That makes the time eligible to keep the problem continuing................. Thus everybody gets an opportunity to survive the way one wants.....................a pessimistic view ? One might feel so..... However, in the absence of any intervention from any corner,.......................time takes care of the things............, Let us be optimistic. more
