Lines for Essentials in Noida
The whole purpose of this lockdown gets defeated if we end up standing in lines to get essentials. See attached.
Authorities please share a workable plan of home delivery. Mere announcements wont do it. Just dont see a policeman in a PCR van being able to deliver milk and food with zero knowledge of how to store and handle Milk and food safely and with no refrigeration facility.

Yes a very valid point.... but door step delivery to very house in the state... logistically is a humongous task if not near impossible for the administration ..... but it can be done... RWAs needs to step in now... 1. Every Society at this time...has Guards and skeleton staff for maintenance work... a. Every Society has shops near their vicinity / neighborhood...which caters to groceries, milk , bread, eggs etc... 2. Administration needs to identify and make sure these shops are supplied with all essential items on a daily basis... a. with the help of helpers from the administration... items can be delivered to the RWAs. b. along-with the helpers, and their society workers RWAs to make sure that the items reach every tower /block / pockets of their society. c. Every tower / block/ pockets of the society will need to have representatives - identified by the RWAs who would: 1. ensure that the items reach every house within their tower / block / pockets. 3. The RWAs involvement will ensure that: a. every house gets the essential items. b. no house hoards items. c. residents will not panic. d. payments can be done by residents using digital payment system... this will reduce people going to ATMs. e. in the unlikely event of any family not getting the items they can always contact their RWAs. who would ensure that the family gets it... f. Residents can make a list of essential items that they would require and hand it over to their tower/block/pocket representatives, this can be done on WhatsApp. 4. Involvement of Administration / RWA will ensure that: a. items are not charged as per the whims and fancies of the shop / suppliers. b. will smoothen the flow of essential items from market / suppliers to the residents c. no resident will have an excuse to go out to buy essential items. d. representatives need not come in contact with their fellow residents... this all can be done by keeping a good distance. more

The basic funda being essentials are not made available the way CM declare. At this point of crisis the govt can at least post a police constable to manage the crowd at safe inter-distance while getting essentials from the market.
