Sorry, There was a mistake. What I meant is, AAP is fielding its candidates in 73 constituencies where the MPs elected from there are facing serious criminal charges. AAP should announce whether any of its nominees are facing any criminal charge. This would set up a precedent and force the other parties to notify the same. Anf if they don't, it can be a big talking point for AAP! If AAP has no candidate with a criminal charge, then this in itself will get them a big boost and substantial number of votes. I think it may work provided the majority of the masses want to end corruption! more
IBN live has published a report that AAP is fielding 73 alleged charge-sheeted criminal candidates in this election: see this link: http://ibnlive.in.com/news/aap-will-field-candidates-in-seats-of-73-mps-who-face-criminal-charges/448375-3.html more
Yes, such a notification, of candidate criminality, would enable the voter to exercise informed choice, which is wholesome for free & fair elections. more
Election Commission shd notify the number of contestants in each party who have criminal cases pending against them. This will enable the electorate to decide which party shd be in power more
Nitesh Kumar Ji I agree with you. more
