Arvind Kejriwal-led government defends in Delhi High Court law criminalising consumption of beef

Unbelievable that The AAP government today defended in the Delhi High Court a law criminalising possession and consumption of beef in the national capital, saying the state was obligated under the Constitution to protect cows and other milch and draught animals from slaughter.

I guess Mr. Kejriwal has realised he has to go this route to retain and gain more politically. Problem is risk of loosing identity. more

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen, The fact is that the consitution provides for the safeguard of Milch Animals against Slaughter. What The Delhi Government has stated is what is rights and obligations are under the Consitutions. Where is politics coming into this. You are reading too much into this more  
It is a shame. It is politics like any other party. We thought he is here to do clean politics - not pander to the majority vote. Shame! more  
Aap has realized that the sentment of the majority b honoured. I suppose, in majority of Iskamic countried eating Pig meat is totally banned. So there is nothing wrong if the will of majority is restored. more
