Especially Gold jewellery shops loots innocents money. Actually Very small profit in Gold bussines . Example on one tula of pure(24ct) Gold sales, business man got only hundred rupees profit. But one tula gold jewellery sales, the business man get 25% to 50% profit (nearly 10 to 20 thousand rupees). jewellery shop advetizes no tarugu and no making charges, but in bills they add 18% to 25% . It is legal. How to caliculate tarugu , how much percent they are . Have any scientific caliculation this tarugu. more

All jewellery shop owners loot not only money quality also . they simply say 916 but is you for a new purchase against the old 916 non of these jewellers accept the same they say we melt and fix the price . if you go for melting let us say 5 soverign ( 40 Gm) you get only 28 to 30 grams worth money. 916 is suppose to be 22 karret but once you met they say it is not 22. if you go to the same shop for this second sale also they simply deduct the cost equal to one soverign 8 gram. Except Tanisq there they give you not only 916 but a certificate for 22 Karret also . In general if you got to any shop including tanisque you end up paying 5 soverigh for a 4 soverign gold 916 they charge 25% in the form of Labour, Wastage , etc etc... more

These Jeweller shop owners loot LEFT RIGHT innocent customers. A Jeweller sold a jewel for 27000 rupees but by chance it was checked with other shop it was found nothing but a glass Piece. Like wise there are many such things we find. Customer Pays but what he gets in Return FAKE THINGS. Customer suffers Business men enjoys. more

With the mushrooming of jewellery shops and demand for readymade jewels, they are charging in the name of making charges. Let the Dept. of consumer affairs look into the matter. more
