JANTA DARBAR WITH A DIRECTION

We all have witnessed what happened in yesterday's Janta Darbar, as everybody wants to raise his problem at first given opportunity. So, it is pertinent for APP to declare Janta Darbar Schedule with fixed topic to reduce the rush. The entry should be on first come first serve basis limiting a maximum number's entry.

To improve it further, I suggest, that this Darbar be held in each region by the MLA, and complied list of unfulfilled demands is discussed by all MLAs in Delhi, and a final list of common items is presented to the CM for consideration & decision. more

Why should only the Ministers be meeting Aam Admi .... In fact the government should ask the lowest government functionary at the level of First Gazetted post of every Department to hold Durbars instead of the ministers.

An on line system should be devised to ensure tracking systematically the responses or actions taken and reviews by the officials (upto ministers) with due filtration of in-process complaints. The would make the whole Govt machinery alert and responsive to the needs of Aam Admi, and leave the ministers to look into the organisation of governance.

.... and the name Durbar for such meets ... which smacks of aristocracy or feudalism ... should be changed to represent ... help to the people .... more
Nobody pays bribe with pleasure, people pay bribes when they have no alternative even after waiting for the normal time. In some departments, the very atmosphere is sinister and agents are lurking everywhere. Best way seems that we should have tatkal system, like in Railways, in every department and charge some fees for urgent work and system should be transparent. Just pay the tatkal fee get a receipt with due date written on it and get the work done.
This will reduce rush at CM Janta Darbar. more
Fully Agree with Bella, it is managable as well.. more
localized darbar is indeed more practical, workable and helps to avoid general inconvenience in terms of disruption of traffic movement among other things. more
I dont think darbar kind of nawabi things are needed.Half of people went with flowers to congratulate him, some for jobs/electrtiity connection/Missing kids etc, which should not escalate to CM level at all. I feel There must be single window compliant centre where people can lodge there complain about Govt departments. If these are not addressed in timebound manner say 30 days, then it should go to grievance cell which must be effective with Sr Oficver in charge, one should be able to see his complain status online. This darbar was epic failure.Instead SDMs/DCp should be asked to hold public meeting every week or so.It's not CM's job to give water/electricity connection. more
