Jan Aushadi Store Ghaziabad has no definite discount on generic medicines from private companies. Discounts range from zero to novice and max. 50% as generic medicine is not written on such medicines and on its packing. MRPs are more than branded medicines. From known sources discounts in New Delhi are upto 30%. They do not keep stock and book orders from customers at their convenient prices and delivery dates from customers after taking some advance only. Their timings of store for purchases are not fixed and are intimated on phone talks to visit.
It may be state of affairs in most of small times, after seeing this in a big town rather city of Ghaziabad.
Concerned departments should investigate and ensure closure of such stores every where in India. more

GENERIC MEDICINE IS THE BIGGEST CORRUPTION. THE MRP MENTIONED ON GENERIC MEDICINE IS SAME AS ON BRANDED MEDICINE, SOMETIMES EVEN MORE. CUSTOMER CAN NOT FIND THAT WHETHER THE MEDICINE IS GENERIC OR BRANDED. THERE IS VIDE DIFFERENCE IN MRP & ACTUAL COST IN GENERIC MEDICINE. SO THE SHOPKEEPERS ARE LOOTING THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE CONTROL ON PUTTING THE MRP ON GENERIC MEDICINE IS BADLY REQUIRED. more

what is the system of deciding the MRP on medicines. Particularly in generic medicines why the MRP is many times more than sale price. Why the real MRP can not be printed without any discounts. more
