Is it possible to believe that MTNL, a PSU might have generated unethical business revenue of Rs. 74, 59,050/- from 1st April 2013 to 31st October 2014?

I have been a subscriber of MTNL Dolphin mobile connection. The choice of having MTNL connection was basically that the PSUs operator cannot adapt to unfair trade practices. However my belief shattered for the first time when it came to the notice that BSNL was charging migration fee for migrating from one plan to another. As per regulation of TRAI (an authority in India to protect the interest of telecom consumers) the migration fee is not allowed to be charged. BSNL was violating the same which made me to believe that when it comes to the talk of unfair trade practices, PSUs are not lagging behind. BSNL was charging the same till December 2011. Surprisingly BSNL withdrawn such unethical charges being charged from consumers only after intervention of TRAI. Failed to understand why intervention of TRAI was required. Had it been charged inadvertently, the same would have been withdrawn immediately when it was brought to their notice.
Coming back to the topic of MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.), it was equally surprising when it came to the notice that MTNL also does not lag behind in unfair trade practice (UTP). The mobile connection popularly called "Dolphin" ....... To read please click here.

The First & Utmost Priority should be Supply of 24 x 7 Clean & Pure Drinking Water to all the residents of Delhi / New Delhi at very reasonable / cheap rates which neither the Congress Govt. nor the BJP Govt. could do so far. Had the Shiela Dixit Govt. privatized the Drininking Water or could ensure its availability at reasonable / cheap rates in clean/pure drinking water, nobody could defeat her Govt. even for 15 years more. Though the Electricity was available 24x7 after its privatization, which helped her win the elections even though the Congress in the Central Govt. had acted adversely against the public interest by sealing the shops and establishments in the residential areas through back door and all the small shop-keepers, traders, bread earners were ruined. Hence, supply of 24x7 clean and pure drinking water at reasonable rates should be the first priority, otherwise People will be left with no alternative, but to opt for New Comers Like Arvind Kejriwal. So Water WATER and Water is the need of the hour. more
Great to sensitise the people of their rights being in our circle. Thanks. more
On the issues of unethical & corrupt practices nothing should shock or surprise us, because anything & everything can happen, because of absence of accountability and penalization. Only AAP can make a difference. more
It is common to suck the red blood of innocent in the form of bribe/corruption, but no one is going to control over bribe/corruption even though 'ACHHE DIN AA CHUKE HAIN', but in reverse, corruption/bribe has increased in many folds. There should be strong will power to control over corruption as was done by Mr Arvind Kejriwal in the form of ordering audit of private electric companies and inquiry against Reliance. So a bold person can do all these and not a sweet speaking person. more
