Invitation for Swearing in Ceremony

Modi ji gave attached invites to all VIPs, party workers, kins of party workers deceased in west bengal.

For the next big event half the invites should be reserved for common citizens (some lottery system)

Celebrities from mumbai are boarding flights, my cousin sitting next to one. The VIP culture must not be promoted. more

Were all these provided conveyance and stay on government expense? If so it was utterly wrong. This is a very solemn occasion and needs great restraint on the behaviour of the invited. What with 'naare baazi' and ' Bharat Mata ki ajy' on the stage immediately after taking oath? Shame ! more
This has nothing to do with VIP culture. Nobody (other than the invitees themselves, perhaps!!) was inconvenienced. Though I felt that the numbers invited was very large. Especially the people sitting in the back rows wouldn't have been able to see a thing, only the TV screens. They might as well have stayed at home and watched the same proceedings live on TV, except of course, the snob value of having eaten a samosa & lemon tart at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in sweltering heat! more
The swearing in should be conducted in a bigger ground with entry without pass. more
In the present enviorament, for security reason it is not a practical suggesion more
Modi ji is totally against VIP culture. more
An invitation to the swearing is not VIP culture really. VIP culture refers to the inconveniencing of ordinary citizens to facilitate the comfort of some. more
