Internet Shutdowns cost businesses and digital India
See attached restaurants putting notices that they wont be able to accept digital payments because internet is down.
There has to be a different solution to this than to disable everyone in a particular city or state to do online transactions.
Why cant you identify businesses and genuine residences and let their internet function or disable only those who are moving in the direction of protest sites.
Restaurants and small business may only do 50% business because of this. Who will pay for their loss.
What if their is uncertainty of protest for 30-60 days? more

But internet get misused by protesters y not have japan like peaceful protest y not govt calm protest assuring farmers more

Internet shutdown is not a solution to prevent rumor mongers as this is not going to have any affect on them. Such messages can be sent from anywhere in the world. Even there is no effect of this shutdown on the protester as they have other means of communication. Only the needy are suffering because of this. Alternate technology enabled methods should be looked upon to address these challenges. more

How do we selectively chose the trouble makers in these respects so that the only the Miniscule number are targetted and not the entire Society. This is a wrong move and the peoples wrath will be on the ones who did the shut down. Even in a war situation the Armies follow certain dictums not to hurt the inocent, week, women and elders. We shouldn't be like certain countries which attck enmass to achieve their Goals even in War. more

The anti-national opposition driven agitators should pay the price for this. Blocking of roads is unjustified in free India, even for real causes. This agitation has no real cause or justification, so the agitators should face the wrath of all whom they callously inconvenience. more
