How to start a IT job consulting business?

Can anyone suggest me how to setup a small label job consulting business? I was a s/w eng for 8 yeRs but since birth of my son I left that job and now I wants toset up a small business at home. I believe consulting can do for me but I have no idea about how to do that business. more

Hi Samir, Thanks for your response. I worked in Tibco, Middleware tool. I worked as lead developer and trainer as well. My previouse company is ready to hire me back but the problem is the required dedicated time and schedule. Do you have any idea how consulting jobs work in which we help companies to hire the employees. more

Pooja You could offer your services on a contract basis on sites such as elance.com odesk.com or freelancers.com It takes a while to develop a reputation on these sites but it is a start.
