How Shameless is our Political System including NAMO

IMPLEMENTATION OF OROP (Defence Personnel)Saved country during Kargil and Present Onslaught of PAK Seas fire Violation. Read below and make Indians aware what our leadership under NAMO is all about.

Hon’ble Prime Minister,

OROP sanctioned on 17 Feb 2014 and endorsed by two Parliaments, two Govts, mentioned by President in his address to both houses of Parliament has not yet been implemented. Implementation has been assured by you on a number of occasions. It is a cause of concern that PM who is scrupulously honest, ruthlessly committed and amazingly efficient has not been able to get the implementation letter on OROP for his soldiers issued as per the approved definition. Sir you had promised that all files would be cleared with efficiency, but even after a lapse of five months since approval, OROP implementation letter is stuck in red-herring. Hon’ble PM Sir, there is only one approved definition of OROP and there will only be one calculation. Red-herrings by the bureaucracy need to be out rightly ignored and Govt letter as per the Draft Govt Letter (DGL) prepared by the Service HQ needs to be implemented. Sir expenditure of few thousand crores to implement OROP is not a big amount for your Govt and the Nation to implement the most genuine demand of soldiers and to honour the armed forces of India . The unwritten agreement between the soldier and the Nation is under serious strain.

Soldiers are protecting the integrity and sovereignty of the Nation even at the peril of their lives. Are we as a Nation respecting our soldiers? Soldiers and ex-servicemen are looking towards you to honour your commitment to them.

With regards,

Maj Gen Satbir Singh, SM (Retd)

Sir, i also fully agree with u. But there is slavery in our DNA, that is why we get carried away by false promises of our so called leaders & bring our misery our self by electing Congress & BJP alternately.(Sir, there is a strong bonded hidden deal between them: to share the booty(loot) among them, whoever may b in power.) Fully endorse your views, Col. Kalidhar. Unfortunately we as electorate, despite having matured to some extent, still get carried away by rhetoric when it comes to electing our representatives. Political parties are innovative and have tremendous resources that they can invest in marketing their, pleasing to hear, rhetorss, huge advertisements, hoardings, media coverages, etc.while AAP is a very small initiative, with very limited resources, it has helped in highlighting corruption as an issue, when it comes to governance. At least people have started thinking about the issue and the corrupt have become somewhat apprehensive. Some convictions of CMs and other ministers too has helped. AAP, in order to make a substantial difference, will have to be at a larger in size. Hopefully, it will be seen by the electorate & they will see the importance of effective opposition too. more
Thanks Colonel Kalidhar for bringing into the notice of aam public the falsehood of our great desh Bhagat leaders who do not tire day in and day out in praising (words only) our great soldiers and officers in the defense. I was in the illusion that the long pending rightful demand of orop has been implemented. We have to keep pressing for that.darshan(Retired Professor, Delhi University) From: support@localcirclesmail.com To: ds_bhupal@hotmail.com Subject: New post "How Shameless is our Pol..." in [Aam Aadmi Party Delhi/NCR] Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2014 11:44:45 +0000 more
I am 100% in support of all our armed forces. Indeed they sacrifice their lives for us both at the border and in times of calamities. Not only their lives are perilous but also their families to whom these soldiers are the only bread earners, suffer immensely and no mercy is shown by these real politicians. more
Govt may consider giving the soldiers their long awaited dues. more
