How BJP has fared in J&K? 8% decline in voters base as compared to LS elections

BJP has won all the seats from Jammu region in J & K elections. In spite of much hype, it could not open its accpount in Kashmir velley and Ladhakh. More specifically, BJP has lost its security deposits in all the constituencies except one in Kashmir velley. However, it got success to polarize votes of one community in its favour to capture 25 seats in Hindu dominated Jammu region whereas other community got divided between PDP, NC, Congress and other non-BJP candidates.

Assuming decline of voters base of BJP in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and J&K as compared to LS elections to continue in Delhi also, BJP will reduce to less than 38% and AAP will give neck to neck fight to BJP.

An unbaised analysis will reveal that AAP is going to consolidate its seat nos from Dec.2013 elections. However, reaching the magic number of 36 is a question mark for both BJP and AAP. more

Sunilji, thanks for appreciating my post. Also I fully agree with Ishteyaqueji. more
To have won Parliamentary election riding crest of a very severe tide of anti incumbency against Congress Party following its misdeeds on all fronts, Mr. Narendra Modi had come over as avatar of a miracle with literally a Midas Touch to turn every misdeed around in interest of the disgruntled masses of the country. An unending series of dreams and hypes were promised to the suffering masses and it had paid to BJP. Now with tides got over, people waiting for the miracle yet diffidently as of now, the show knowingly and tacitly allowed to be stolen by radical zealots of RSS fraternity to divert attention- the masses have started realising the truth of farce-development and illusions put forward to them albeit gradually and hence these paradox of successes with increment of decrease in vote share everywhere. It is opportune time for the honest political Party in AAP to come over the political horizon and introduce itself as alternative to any Political party on helm of power to prove its worth in future. more
TV news has stated that an election rally of AAP in which AK was present was disturbed by a stone throwing protester. I was expecting that at least this time it would be different from the last Lok Sabha elections in which AAP was routinely hammered. But it seems history is going to repeat itself. AAP may be bashed at will and blamed for pulling a stunt for gaining publicity & sympathy!!?? We appeal for a free & peaceful election. Are we asking for too much? more
While local issues get precedence over national issues in legislative assembly elections, the trend clearly indicates that the hype is over and only good governance will fetch votes. In 2013 Delhi elections, AAP narrowly lost a few seats due to media projections of AAP not getting more than 5-7 seats. Anti BJP votes went to Congress due to so called perception of candidate most likely to defeat BJP. AAP would have got enough seats to form the Government in Delhi. Need to be wary of negative campaign and carry on our good work. Need to closely scrutinize revised electoral roll expected in first week of Jan. 2015. more
Thanks, Sunilji for the information. Shameless BJP has been exposed time and again for misdeeds. Now BJP is in threatening mode at J&K to form Govt forcefully as they claim that they are at the center and have the full power & control in the financials allocations states. The same thing has been uttered in Delhi by HM Rajnath Singh to woe voters in Delhi for assembly polls. But I can rest assure, all these things are backfiring only, & thereby gain for AAP.
