Footpaths, Stations, Main Roads with Hawkers' Paradise causing extreme disruptions!

Dear All,

We all know the apathy of Mumbai Railway Stations, Main Roads, Footpaths, Bus-Stops and so called - "Apanga-Stall" on the main road footpaths.

1. No objections on their businesses, but every place cannot be a selling place for hawkers especially at the railway stations - Thane, Central Track, Western Track.

2. Footpaths are for the miserable commuter to walk and not put a full stop on the foot path where there are paani poorie walas, fruit vendors, clothes sellers, paaan stall walahs that create a jumboorie of people causing traffic jams, debris of foul smell around and muck instead of convenience of the tax-payer citizens who want to walk to reach home or office

3. Request to kindly relocate these hawkers and clean the mess around stations and footpaths so that the purpose of footpaths is served, commuters feel proud of the city and would create an atmosphere of collaborative growth rather than the hustle-bustle to make a fast buck killing the commuter's convenience

Hope we take cognisance of the situation at this right time with an iron hand so as to create a serene living space for all the citizens

Regards. more

Thane east side railway foot over bridge is infected by immoral trafficking. It is becoming difficult for common public trespassing. Though there are CCTV recording, it appears either this component disfunt or Thane railway authorities are mute SPECTATORS. Public is bearing burnt. Such matter has brought to the notice to all authorities through various medias, but the situation unattended. more
